SpaceX AI1 orbital datacenter + $2B/month AI compute anchor revenue
Not filed to a thread
As the brief logged it
SpaceX unveiled AI1 (70m, 150 kW compute, deployable liquid radiator) on June 8. FCC filing Jan 30 for 1M satellite data centers. Anchor compute contracts from Anthropic (~$1.25B/month) and Google (~$920M/month). This is the second funded-engine pillar beyond Starlink, meaning SpaceX's ability to subsidise satellite pricing from non-satcom revenues is even larger than modelled. SES should re-run its Starlink competitive pricing scenario with these margins included.
