SpaceConnect (formed June 24) founding members were Amazon, Iridium, Telesat, Globalstar. The Rocket Lab-Iridium deal (close mid-2027) will eventually transfer Iridium's SpaceConnect membership. Meanwhile, Amazon is acquiring Globalstar (close 2027). Post-2027, SpaceConnect could reduce to effectively Telesat + Amazon (having absorbed Globalstar) + Rocket Lab/Iridium — making it even more of a US-capital-backed anti-EU Space Act bloc. Monitor SpaceConnect for any official statement on the Iridium deal and WRC-27 posture.
