China's orbital-compute supply chain keeps funding up.
As the brief logged it
Thermal AI (热数科技) raised "several hundred million yuan" (≥~$44.9M) on Aug 12 for flexible space-radiator hardware explicitly aimed at orbital AI-compute payloads, and signed a strategic-cooperation MoU with launch startup Nayuta Space (千亿航天), whose "Ālaya" concept repurposes a reusable second stage as a compute platform (china-in-space.com, Aug 20; underlying event Aug 12, >7d). A component/enabling-layer datapoint, not a commercial contract, so it does not trip the thread's re-rate gate — but it is one more proof the Chinese orbital-compute stack SES's space-data adjacency competes against is deepening.
